Fundraising

If you would like to donate to Mckinney PTO at any time you can use the secure PayPal link on the right.  This is a great option if you would like to donate to our annual Fun Run, buy some Scrip Cards, donate to our annual Read-A-Thon, or simply make a donation. Make sure to note who your student is and what your donation is for during the check out process in PayPal.

Many local employers of our parents have programs that donate money to schools (or other non-profit organizations) based on the monetary donations or volunteer hours that the employee gave to the organization. Please investigate if your employer offers either of these programs!

We are currently trying to raise $21,000 to purchase and install a large canvas cover over the play structure.  Initially our purpose for wanting this covered area was to provide an opportunity for students to play outdoors rain or shine!  Now, in light of Covid-related social distancing requirements, this covered area will also provide additional learning areas for students to be in small, spaced groups once students are back in the building. We have raised approximately $11,000 towards the cover during last year's fundraisers.  If you are interested, and in a position to be able to donate towards our goal, please consider making a donation here through the PayPal link. 

The PTO has decided to postpone our annual Fun Run fundraiser at this point.  We will re-evaluate later in the year to determine if hosting it in the spring would make sense.
